Prior to working as a qualified electrician, I served a number of years within the New Zealand Defense Force. It was here that I was posted to Delta Company, 2/1st Infantry Battalion within the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment.
After passing through Infantry Corps Training, successful candidates are presented with the Red Diamond, worn on the left shoulder of the dress uniform. You can see a rendition of the Red Diamond represented in the Delta Electrical Logo.
